This is a pretty modern take on growing up; girl has a past, girl drinks too much, girl gets boy. I liked it though: lots of different elements and parts that you just wouldn’t have guessed but overall a really easy read.
This book will resonate with many girls who feel their pasts define them but they need to realise that it doesn’t have to. EVERYONE is a master of their own destiny but sometimes you need a shove in the right direction – never underestimate the impact good friends have on you but even they will only take so much.
I’d happily give this a 6 out of 10 due to the ease of reading and the atmosphere that the writer has imparted to the reader.
